Deciding he can best help by example, Superman puts his incredible powers to work in a titanic effort to alleviate world hunger. Despite the cynicsm he encounters along the way, his greatest gift to the world is an undeniable message of hope and peace.
Superman: Peace On Earth is a graphic novel in a unique format combing aspects of both comics and picture books. Reed Richards, hand-picked to join the Baxter Building think tank of young geniuses, spent his entire youth and young adulthood developing a teleport system that would transport solid matter through a parallel universe.
Its first full-scale test was witnessed by Reed, fellow think-tank members Sue Storm and Victor Van Damme, Sue's younger brother Johnny, and Reed's childhood friend Ben Grimm.
There was an accident.
Their genetic structures were scrambled and recombind iin a fantastically strange way. Reed's body stretches and flows like water. Ben looks like a thing carved from desert rock. Sue can become invisible. Johnny generates flame.
The four remain in the Baxter Building under guidance of think tank heed Doctor Storm, father of Sue and Johnny.
